Oolitic Aragonite

CarboRay™ is a polymorph of calcium carbonate that offers structural advantages over traditional calcium carbonate on the market today. Its orthorhombic crystal structure promotes an increased hardness, zeta potential, specific gravity, and is over 99% acid soluble in 15% HCl at room temperature. The distinctive oolitic structure in raw form gives the material its unique properties.

CarboRay™ oolitic aragonite material is perfect for use in the oil, gas, and pipeline industry, as well as being used in plastics and polymers, glass manufacturing, agriculture, and others. CarboRay™ is considered an ecofriendly material, capturing CO2 out of the atmosphere in its formation, while naturally replenishing in the shallow water ecosystem around The Bahamas.  The process of harvesting this bio based material is done with an eye towards environmental responsibility and sustainability with strict approval of local authorities.
